Dr. Amar pal singh suri is a foot care specialist (podiatrist) practicing in new delhi. He completed podiatry training from the very prestigious beth israel deaconess hospital, boston, ( harvard medical university) u.S.A. And then did his fellowship in biomechanical pressure offloading techniques from temple school of podiatry, philadelphia, usa.
Dr. Suri is one of the few diabetic foot specialists practicing in india and his main field of work is in diabetic wound management and pressure offloading techniques for early healing of diabetic wounds. Dr. Suri is working in india since last 12 years and has saved many diabetic patients from major amputations of lower legs from gangrene.
Dr. Suri is the chief consultant and director, podiatry services in the diabetic foot care centre in new delhi, and is the founder president of indian podiatry association. He is american board certified hyperbaric oxygen therapy specialist. He is the member of american podiatric medical association – apma, american association of wound care – aawc, european diabetic foot study group, dr. Suri also runs a training program in india to train other doctors in diabetic foot care and has trained more than 2000 dr’s from different parts of india since last 5 years. Indian podiatry association runs this program all over india in different cities.
